Ryan Yerdon is originally from upstate New York and now resides in Portland, OR. He has spent most of his career in Los Angles, California as a professional touring/session drummer. Growing up submersed in music at an early age inspired Ryan to become forever driven and determined to be a professional musician.

Music was in his everyday life since he can remember. With his father, two uncles and even his grandfather playing, he often found himself watching and knowing it was his destiny. At age 7 he got his first kid drum set and at 12 a beautiful Ludwig drum set handed down from his grandfather. He immediately started playing in a band at age 13 and has never looked back.

Ryan attended Musicians Institute/PIT from 1993 to 1995 in Los Angeles and studied with Joe Porcaro, Ray Luzier, Dave Beyer and Ralph Humphrey among many more.

He has worked with many platinum selling artist and producers. Some of his credits include the following: Weezer, Puddle Of Mudd (2005-2010), Gavin Rossdale, Dweezil Zappa, Ahmit Zappa, Dave Stewart, Carina Round (Interscope Records), Joanna (A&M Records, American Idol), Brad Kane (Elektra Records), Soul Kid #1 (DreamWorks Records), Jack Joseph Puig (Rolling Stones, The Black Crows, U2, John Mayer), Diane Warren (Christina Aguilera, Aerosmith), Howard Benson (Bon Jovi, Daughtry, My Chemical Romance), John Kurzweg (Godsmack, Creed, Jewel), Chad Bamford (Robben Ford, AFI, Pennywise), Brain Virtue (Audioslave, Deftones).

In 2010 Ryan Won 5th Place in the Modern Drummer readers poll award for “Best Rock Drummer”. He has toured the world and has performed on Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel, Carson Daly and Fuze TV. Ryan was also a session drummer and music editor for Fox Family Channel working on cartoons such as, The Addams Family, Nascar, Hello Kitty, Transformers and Bad Dog. Ryan’s endorsements include: Gretsch Drums, Vater drumsticks, Meinl Cymbals, Protection Racket, Rhythm Tech and Gibraltar Hardware.
