Frankie "Kash" Waddy is the most accomplished funk drummer on the planet. For over four decades, his work with James Brown, Parliament-Funkadelic, The Rubber Band and Bootsy Collins have provided the backbone of funk, as the world knows it.

Born in Cincinnati in 1948, he has been playing drums since he was a small child. Frankie has played with the Funk Mob since 1971. Prior to P-Funk, he played with James Brown and the House Guests, which evolved into Funkadelic. After joining P-Funk he has also played with Complete Strangers, which became Bootsy’s Rubber Band, Sly Stone and Sly Fox.
