Early life

Born Anthony Peter Biuso in Queens, New York City on (1970-08-19) August 19, 1970 (age 51) . Anthony attended a Catholic elementary school in Long Island and lists his hometown as Wantagh, New York. As a kid he studied Jazz, Dixieland and later in High school Marching Band. As a senior he was asked to join the Long Island Youth Orchestra as a snare and tympani player. Anthony's biggest influence came when he first heard Led Zeppelin's John Bonham as well as Billy Joel's Liberty DeVitto and Kiss's Peter Criss, In an Interview he said “I can remember seeing Kiss in 1980 and coming home crying because I wanted to be Peter Criss so badly.” In 1988, after growing up and previously studying music and percussion at the "Long Island Drum Center", he decided to move to Southern California and pursue his dream of becoming a full fledged rock star. Entering the music scene in L.A. he met many like minded musicians and eventually enrolled into the Musicians Institute in Hollywood earning him the nickname "Tiny Bubz".

In 1988 after 6 months at M.I., Anthony joined his first real band, the Hardcore/Thrash group "Rude Awakening" honing his skills for live performances as well as his chops for future studio gigs. After that he joined the group "Full Metal Racket", who also made a brief appearance on the 98 Warped Tour. "Tiny" toured Europe with Rude in 98 and 99. He also recorded albums for MC Wren (from NWA), Lindsey Troy (Electra)and Popa. In 2002 he met and collaborated with former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza by writing the song "Life Back" for Menza's first solo record "Life After Deth". Soon after in 2003 Anthony was hired by the punk band "The Dickies" for several U.S. tours.

In 2004 he also joined punk band "T.S.O.L." balancing his time and energy between both acts. He was also the house drummer at L.A.'s Cat Club. In 2007 Anthony was asked to join the band Hed (pe) to tour and record their album "New World Orphans" which was released on January 13, 2009, eventually making its way up to #73 on the Billboard charts. In August 2008 Anthony left Hed (pe) to devote more time to his main group T.S.O.L., who in 2009 won the "Best So. Cal Punk Band" award given by the OC Weekly Music Awards as well as recording two full length albums, "Who's Screwin' Who" and "Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Free Downloads". In 2010 he was asked to play on Rhino Bucket's album "Who's Got Mine". He also writes an article for Modern Drummer Magazine and as of 2013 still plays and records with T.S.O.L.
